Hair Care

Don't know how to take care of it? We got you!

How long can my hair extensions last?

With Premium Virgin Hair, you can enjoy extensions that last up to one year with proper care.

Since hair extensions lack natural nutrition, we recommend washing them without silicone and using hair oil daily for extra nourishment.

Brush your hair extensions multiple times a day to prevent matting and keep them looking their best.

How should I sleep with my extensions on?

Brush Before Bed: Gently brush your hair and extensions to remove any tangles or knots.
Use a Silk or Satin Pillowcase: These materials reduce friction and minimize hair breakage.
Braid or Tie Up Your Hair: Create a loose braid or ponytail to prevent tangling and keep your extensions secure while you sleep.
Avoid Sleeping with Wet Hair: Make sure your hair is dry before going to bed to avoid damage and tangling.

Can I swim with my hair extensions on?

Swimming with hair extensions can be risky if you are having the light blonde hair extensions on, but it is possible with some precautions:

Condition and Detangle: Before swimming, apply a generous amount of leave-in conditioner, gently detangle your hair and tie your hair into a tight bun to keep the extensions in good condition.

Rinse Before and After: Rinse your hair with clean water before swimming to reduce the absorption of chlorine or saltwater. Rinse thoroughly again after swimming to wash away any chemicals or salt.
Use a Swim Cap: Wearing a swim cap provides extra protection against water exposure.
Avoid Long Exposure: Limit the amount of time your hair extensions are exposed to chlorinated or saltwater.

**Please avoid swimming in the ocean with your hair extensions!**

Can I use curling iron on my hair extensions?

Yes, you can use a curling iron on your hair extensions, but it's important to follow some guidelines to keep them in good condition:

Use Heat Protection: Always apply a heat protectant spray to your extensions before using a curling iron to prevent damage.
Set the Right Temperature: Use a lower heat setting, especially if your extensions are fine or have been colored. High heat can cause damage and breakage.
Curl Gently: Be gentle when curling your hair extensions to avoid pulling or stretching the hair.
Avoid Frequent Use: Limit how often you use heat styling tools on your extensions to prolong their lifespan.
Brush and Detangle: Before curling, brush and detangle your extensions to ensure even heat distribution and minimize damage.

How should I store my hair extensions when not in use?

Store your extensions in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep them in a silk or satin bag to prevent tangling and preserve their quality.

How should I brush my hair extensions?

Use a wide-tooth comb or a brush designed for extensions. Start from the ends and work your way up to prevent tangling and breakage.

How should I dry my hair extensions?

Gently blot your hair with a microfiber towel to remove excess water. Avoid wringing or rubbing the hair. Let your hair air dry whenever possible, or use a blow dryer on a low heat setting.
